An astute seasoned and versatile leader with over 3 decades of experience in Hotel Management, Food & Beverage, Business Development, Operations and Planning with a proven track of success in delivering record-breaking revenue and profit gains.
Serkan Gumrukcu, received his degree of Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Public Administration undergraduate degree from Bilkent University Faculty of Economics and Administrative and Social Sciences. He has an extensive experience in pre-opening planning and operations and post-opening operations of hotels and resorts. With strong sales and marketing coordination and proficient in developing business according to feasibility studies for different markets with good planning for budgeting & forecasting in order to maximize the profit and reduce the costs. Maintains key relationships with different companies and industries.
Monitors financial performance with full responsibility and controlling recourses allocation to meet sales and customer requirements. Analyzes financial information and develops the best practice in financial accounting and control procedures, supporting and advising the management team.
Visionary developer and motivating leader with strong analytical and strategic management skills in the hospitality-related industry. A large database of contacts being key success factor in producing excellent results through business relationships lasting for more than 20 years. Worked as a business development manager in local and global brands entire hospitality market in the world.

Mr.Cuntay throughout the 4-year education process, had studied theoretical and applied courses and got the Bachelor's Degree from the Balikesir University Faculty of Tourism and then completed his master's studies in the same University Faculty of Economics, in the field of "Tourism Management". He specialized in areas such as front office management, housekeeping, kitchen, service bar management, food & beverages management, touristic products marketing, strategy management, guest satisfaction and feedback, public relations, statistics, administration, general accounting, accommodation facilities accounting, law, organizational behavior, travel agency.

He Planed, directed and organized the entire hotel services, while taking a strategic proactive approach and planning ahead so the hotel maximizes its profits.

Mr Cuntay is Chairman of Proffesional Hotel Managers Association in Istanbul and the part time lecturer in Kultur University Tourism Management Faculty.

During his managarial career he demonstrated leadership while paying attention to details: Set the example for the hotel employees, strived to the highest standard of service to meet guests' expectations and needs. Coordinate the harmony between entire hotel functions such as: reservations, reception, concierge, food and beverage departments, restaurants operations and housekeeping.
